Tenjin

Touhachi Bishamon Ten

Bishamon Ten is also called Tamon Ten (listen to many techings) because he always protects the places Nyorai teaches in and listsens to the laws. He is also called Konpira because he is the god providing wealth. He is enshrined in Suisei-kyu(palace of water) in the north of Mt.Sumisen.a member of Happo Ten or Shitenno(Four Buddhist guardians). He is attended by Yasha, Setsura. He protects the land of Buddha and the sentient world. This ten is explained to be a couple with Kissho Ten. He is also worshipped as the Three Daikoku Ten joined by Daikoku Ten.
