Tenjin

Benzai Ten

She came from Indian myth. Originally the god for rivers and became a wife of Bon Ten. Worshipped in the neighborhood of a pond or a river; there are many stories related with dragons.
Also called Myoon Ten. She was worshipped as a patroness of music, speech, wealth and wisdom since she pleases ordinary people with her beautiful voice. She has the same ten-nyo style as Kissho Ten. She has one face with eight arms carrying a biwa, however, there are various form.
