Taiken Taishi

Abbreviation of Daiken Shuri Bosatsu. He is the god protecting the law worshipped in a Buddhism sanctum in Zen shu sect. He is wearing clothes for the emperor with his right hand on the forehead watching in distant. He is originally the god protecting the law going into China when King Ashoka in India built a pagoda for Buddha's borns in China. They say he had protected people crossing over the sea or fishing but that he followed Dougen Zenshi secretly when Zenshi came back to Japan from China and tried to protect the law.
