2500years ago, it was written in Daihatsunehangyo (Great Nirvana Sutra) that if you make a butsuzo
or a pagoda and spend a pleasant life with them, you would be reborn in, what is called, Fudou World(immovable world). At that time, it was too awful for people to make a statue of Buddha, so they built a pagoda in various places. Shortly, however, Buddhism culture which was influenced with Greek sculptures in India was spread to China and all over the world.
